Google Workspace Assistant
A private productivity tool that connects Google services to clearly defined automations requested by the account owner.
Last updated September 4, 2026
The Batky AI Google Workspace Assistant helps Evan and explicitly authorized users complete practical work across Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Contacts. It is not a public email client or an open signup service. A Google account is accessed only after its user grants OAuth permission.
What the assistant does
The assistant supports defined productivity workflows such as:
- Finding and organizing email that needs attention.
- Preparing or sending a reply, reminder, or report authorized by the user.
- Extracting receipt, scheduling, project, or customer information.
- Reading availability and maintaining requested calendar events.
- Reading files and preparing or updating documents and spreadsheets.
- Looking up a contact needed for a user-requested communication.
- Recording workflow status, preventing duplicates, and verifying completed work.
Some workflows run once in response to a direct request. Others may run on a schedule after the account owner approves the purpose, scope, and expected actions. Scheduled access remains limited to that approved workflow.
Google permissions
The current Google authorization may request these OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modifyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.sendhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendarhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheetshttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/documentshttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly
Those permissions support the following functions:
- Gmail read-only and Gmail modify: search and read relevant messages and attachments, detect prior handling, and apply authorized mailbox organization such as read state or labels.
- Gmail send: send a message only after a direct user request or under a separately approved recurring workflow with a defined sender, recipient, purpose, and safety policy.
- Google Calendar: read availability and create, update, or remove events when needed for an authorized scheduling workflow.
- Google Drive read-only: locate, read, and download the files needed for a task without changing Drive files or permissions.
- Google Sheets: read or update cells, formulas, and spreadsheet structure required by an authorized workflow.
- Google Docs: read, create, or update documents required by an authorized workflow.
- Google Contacts read-only: find names and contact details needed for a user-requested lookup or communication.
A Google permission can technically allow broader access than an individual task needs. The assistant is designed to use only the data required for the active, user-authorized workflow.
Human control
Connecting Google does not authorize every possible action. The user chooses the workflow and can stop using it or revoke access. Externally visible actions such as sending a new message require a direct request or an existing recurring authorization that names the purpose and allowed behavior. The assistant verifies important changes and keeps enough workflow state to prevent duplicate processing.
AI-assisted processing
When a workflow needs classification, extraction, summarization, or drafting, the minimum relevant portion of Google data may be processed by a commercial AI service such as Anthropic or OpenAI. The data is used to provide the authorized feature. Batky AI does not opt Google user data into provider model training or intentionally submit it through provider feedback tools.
Data storage and sharing
Google remains the source system. A workflow may retain the minimum data needed for continuity, deduplication, verification, auditing, recovery, or the result requested by the user. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers, or used for credit or lending decisions.
Service providers process Google data only as needed to operate the approved workflow. These may include Google, a commercial AI provider, Vercel or private hosted infrastructure, and purpose-specific secure storage. The full access, use, storage, sharing, retention, and deletion disclosures are in the Privacy Policy.
Your controls
You can revoke Google access at any time from Google Account connections. To request access to or deletion of stored workflow records, email evan@batky.ai.
Limited Use
Batky AI Google Workspace Assistant’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Related policies
Read the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling disclosure and the Terms of Use for conditions that apply to this website and assistant.
