Tech Capacity for Shopmonkey: Privacy Policy

1. About the extension

Tech Capacity for Shopmonkey is a Chrome extension published by EMB Automation (EMB Marketing LLC). It shows each technician’s booked labor hours for a week against the hours they have available. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopmonkey.

2. What it reads

When you have the Shopmonkey web app (app.shopmonkey.cloud) open and signed in, the extension reads, through that tab and as you:

• appointments in the week you are viewing;
• the labor lines on the work orders tied to those appointments (hours and assigned technician);
• your shop’s list of users, to show technician names.

To make these requests it uses the sign-in token the Shopmonkey web app already keeps in that tab. The token stays in the page.

3. What it stores

Only your settings: the shop’s working days, hours per day, per-technician hours, hidden technicians and the day the week starts on. They are kept in Chrome’s storage for the extension, and Chrome syncs them across your own browsers if you use Chrome sync. The last week loaded is kept in memory for up to five minutes.

4. What it shares

Nothing. The extension sends requests only to Shopmonkey’s own servers. It never sends your data, your token or your settings to us or to any third party, uses no analytics, advertising or tracking, and never changes data in Shopmonkey.

5. Removing your data

Remove the extension from Chrome to delete its settings.
